TN contest update

Yay! Not only did the TN Spring Contest totally meet the mark way before the 29th of March, it spilled into the $5,000 Bald-o-tron overtime and met THAT mark, too! That's $30,000 for inner-city public schools in New York, and a bald Sars for everyone else! Hee.

I was personally stoked when the "Send my girls to Cirque Du Soleil" challenge was met - one of the best things in school, for me, was going to these lavish productions of musicals and other concerts (second best was being in school productions of muscials and plays). Learning to appreciate art and music is an amazing and important part of education. (The Renoir exhibit my year level went to one year was fantastic, too.)

I love this part of the contest-end round-up: Shave Fest '06 will take place the evening of March 23. Video footage to follow. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go use all my barrettes for the last time. Heh.

In other fun news, I ran into jakebe at Rock Bottom Comics. It's a small, nerdy world ;)
